Performance Testing

Bench.sh

Qiushui's Bench.sh and Laogui's SuperBench use the same performance and disk I/O tests. I haven't included SuperBench here because many of its speed test nodes in China no longer work. Alternative scripts for speed testing in China are listed below.

Overview

• Displays various system details for the machine being tested;
• Uses test endpoints at well-known data centers around the world for comprehensive download testing;
• Supports IPv6 download speed tests;
• Runs the I/O test three times and displays the average.

Network Testing

Return Routes to China's Three Major ISPs

Overview

Tests return routes to China's three major ISPs with a single command and reports the route names directly, without per-hop details. This is handy for beginners. Results are for reference only.

Overview

Tests download speeds to selected cities outside China.

Overview

ping.pe is an official testing tool from BandwagonHost. It can test outbound ping latency to locations in Europe, North America, the Middle East, and selected Southeast Asian countries. It's very useful.

Visit the official website and enter an IP address to run a test.
